Nevertheless, Trump has vowed to take the case to the U.S. Supreme Court, maintaining his position despite mounting criticism and legal obstacles. The president’s approach has been described as a reckless grab for absolute power, with critics pointing to his history of bypassing Congress on major decisions and his willingness to attack institutions that challenge his narrative, such as when he accused the Smithsonian Institution of being anti-American for telling the truth about the nation’s past.
